Thinking (and writing) about Principles

I have many, many articles and posts I'd like to link to, adding my own thoughts an comments about why and how they fit into my philosophical perspective. The challenge that I want to rise to in doing this is always keeping in mind the principles behind what I'm advocating, and then going a step further to lay out the principle for anyone who cares to read what I've posted.

And this is where I most often get stuck. Is it enough to point to the Ayn Rand Lexicon? Sometimes that feels akin to quoting from the bible, rather than demonstrating my own mastery or internalization of the concepts.

I suppose the best way to figure it out is to jump in, catch my breath, and start swimming.
